Designed with growth in mind.
Growing food was only part of the vision behind Summer Street Farm. As a new initiative rooted in sustainability, employment, and community impact, this hydroponic urban farm needed a visual presence that could communicate its energy and purpose to the public while creating a sense of pride for the people behind it.
Working alongside New Brooklyn Media, we developed vibrant supportive visuals centred around a 10ft × 40ft mural created in collaboration with the participant council. Designed to work with SSF’s existing branding, while feeling optimistic, energetic, and community-driven, the mural became a visual anchor for the space while inspiring new assets including product labels and merchandise. Together, these elements helped introduce the farm to the community through a cohesive identity that feels as approachable and hopeful as the initiative itself.
